Hessian Research provides quantitative research and software engineering services to clients. Its deliverables are research, analysis, source code, documentation and technical systems.

No investment advice

Nothing on this site, and nothing delivered under an engagement, constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Material published here is technical and general in nature and takes no account of any person's objectives, financial situation or needs.

No management or custody of client funds

The firm does not manage, hold, receive or have custody of client money or assets, does not exercise discretion over any account, and does not place orders on behalf of clients. Systems built under an engagement are operated by the client, on the client's own infrastructure and accounts.

No proprietary trading

The firm does not trade proprietary capital and does not operate a trading business of its own.

No signals or discretionary management

The firm does not sell trading signals, does not operate a managed account or fund, and does not offer discretionary or advisory management.

No track record

No performance record is offered, published or implied. No figure on this site is a representation of investment returns. Past results of any research or system, whether described here or under an engagement, are not indicative of future results.

Risk

Trading and investing carry risk of loss, including loss of principal. Any decision to deploy capital using a system built under an engagement is the client's alone, and the client is responsible for its operation, its risk controls and its regulatory position.
